Am i Praying Wrong and Disrespectfully?

When i pray i start to pray i start off as "Hey God" my parents just flipped on me and said i cant pray like that and its wrong am i wrong? They say it's ts disrespectful and i cant talk to god like im talking to a friend.... I thought i was suppose to talk to god comfortably. they r going to yell at my youth pastor cause he told me that's ok to pray like that, and they say he needs to stop....and they have been going to church longer then him and know how to pray. Who is right? Am i wrong?
