My dog died yesterday, it didnt strike me as bad as my first dog that died, why?

Almond Joy got hit by a car yesterday, and this had happened another time with my other dog dillon. It didn't strike me as bad as when dillon got hit. But I don't understand why. I didn't cry or mourn over him or nothing. I feel so bad that he died. I know it wasnt anyone's fault because things happen for a reason. But why didnt I cry?
