What can cause a brain tumor in dogs?

you shouldn't feel responsible, you didn't know. I'm guessing brain tumors are caused in dogs by the same factors as they are caused in humans, sometimes there are no factors, just bad luck.. To be honest it was the vet's responsibility to have taken a tumor in consideration, maybe you should ask him if there was such a possibility.
